Happy 8th Birthday Ty

Tucker is just the sweetest little boy! Tenley was having so much fun playing with hime and I loved watching the two of them together!

Ty celebrated his 8th birthday and I cannot believe that he is 8 years old! Where has time gone? Ty was so excited for his birthday to come because it also meant that he would be getting baptized!! Ty really wanted SlugTerra blasters and a new transformers wii game. He was so excited that he got both of them. Ty is such a good boy! He wants to please others and is usually willing to do whatever he is asked to do! He loves sports, has started taking piano lessons and is doing so good at it. He really excels in school and we are so proud of him. He also really loves to go out and shoot his bow and that just makes his dad so happy! We love you Ty!!!

Camping with the Faudin's

Rikki turned 31 while we were camping!

Damien and Tag are trying to brave in that cold cold water!

They braved the cold water and made it to the island!

Ty, Brice and Tenley finally braved the cold water and made it to the island
One dirty, but happy bunch of kids

Now you can see just how dirty they really are! They remind me of a bunch of little "cavemen" children!

Sebastien really wanted to do something outdoors while he was here in Nevada! Being that it was August, we decided to take them camping in the much cooler mountains of Haggerty! We had a great time and as you can tell, so did all the kids! We all stayed in our camp trailer and it worked out great! The kids played and got dirty and had such a blast! We rode the horses, went on rhino rides, and swam in the pond. Some of the kids even did the zip line into the pond! There was never time to be bored because there were tons of kids there to play with! It was a great weekend and we are so grateful that we were able to take them to one of our new favorite camping spots! The cousins had so much fun together and have made friendships that will last a lifetime!

First Day of School and Daddy's Birthday

The school year has begun and we have 3 little ones who were so excited for school to start! Ty is in 2nd grade, Tag is in 1st grade, and Tenley goes to pre-school. So far the school year has been pretty busy and full of lots of homework! The kids begged to ride the bus this year, so I gave in and now they ride the bus! It has actually been really nice because I do not have to wake up Tucker to go pick them up from school! We experienced a flood and missed a couple days of school for that. We have been very busy with soccer this year and Ty has started playing the piano too!

Daddy had his 35th birthday and I am second guessing myself as I type that! It seems just too crazy that he is already 35! He was up in Utah hunting for his birthday, so I will say it was the best birthday ever! He and my brother Mike were elk hunting for a bull and Mike shot a really nice one! Those of you who know my husband, know that is the best birthday present ever! When he got back from his hunt, we celebrated his birthday with his favorite: homemade brownies! Tenley was so excited because daddy let her blow out his candles! We love you daddy!!

Las Vegas with the Faudin's

Saying goodbye

Our last hooray before the end of summer! Thanks to mom and dad, Rikki and I had a very nice place to stay in Las Vegas! We spent 4 days in Vegas with Rikki and her family! We had LOTS of fun and many late nights! The kids loved to play in the pool in the morning and evening if we got home before it closed! For Las Vegas, we had crazy weather for August! It was actually really nice because it wasn't so hot, so we could do things during the day without dying of heat! We took the kids to the Adventuredome and spent 11 hours there! We were all so tired by the time we left, but there wasn't one person who didn't have a great time!  We rode super fun and fast roller coasters and rides that took your stomach away! Uncle Seb was lucky enough to take the boys on the big rides and Rikki and I took the girls on the little kid rides! It was so fun to watch Tenley and Lucie just giggle and smile as they rode these rides! Tucker was such a good little baby and endured the 11 hours like a pro! The other thing we did while we were in Vegas, was take the kids to see the water fountain at the Bellagio and the Volcano and the Mirage! They loved it, but did not like all the walking they had to do! By the end, we had lots of tired and whining kids! We had a great time in Las Vegas and were really sad when we had to say our final goodbye to the Faudin Family! It was hard to say goodbye to my sister and I know the kids had a hard time saying goodbye to their cousins! We had a great summer and now it was time to get back to reality and get ready for school!
