Happy Halloween

The pumpkin patch and carving pumpkins

Tenley's Pre-School Halloween Party! Waiting to sing for the Judge at the court house!

I wish I could have gotten her facial expressions when she was feeling all the parts of a monster!

Ward Trunk or Treat

Halloween was pretty crazy this year for me! The kids were so excited and I was too, but then I was excited that it was over! We went to the pumpkin patch on Monday and then carved them for our Family Home Evening. On Tuesday I had to run to Wal-Mart to get everything for their class parties and our Ward Trunk-or-Treat! I was still feeling so sick, but it was literally the only day I could go! On Wednesday we did Tenley's Pre-School Party and all the kids were so cute in their costumes! They had a great time and I think all the moms were exhausted by the time it was over! On Thursday (Halloween Day), I made all the food for the class parties that morning and got everything ready for the trunk-or-treat! The craziness started at 1:30 and didn't end until about 9:00pm! I dropped off goodies to Tag's class and their were so many kids and parents in their that I was so glad I was not in charge of that party! I am the room mother for Ty's class this year, so I headed down to his class to get all the food ready! They did the costume parade and then it was time for the party! We played Halloween Bingo and at lots of goodies! The kids seemed to have a great time! I then had to go to work for a couple of hours! I decorated the our trunk during work and then after work it was off to the church for the trunk-or-treat! The kids went around and around to all the trunks until all the candy was gone! They had such a great time seeing all their friends and of course getting all that candy! We had hot chocolate and crispy cream doughnuts and by that time I was sweeted out! We had a great time, but both Josh and I were exhausted and ready for bed! I still was fighting my cold and it had now been a week, so I was really ready for bed! The kids had a great Halloween and that is all that matters to me!

Finally a Camping Trip

Tag needs a new bow because this one is so hard for him to pull back, but he still really great!
This was Tenley's little fortress that she loved to play on
I love the look on her face! She loved shooting the 22
He was so proud of himself for shooting the can with his bow! I must say mom and dad were really proud too!

The boys had a blast destroying all these dead trees! It was quite entertaining!

Even Taz survived the weekend! I was a little worried with all the coyotes around!

Ty loves shooting his bow and is getting so good at it!!!

We have been wanting to go camping for the longest time, but our weekends have been full! Josh has been doing his fire training every Saturday for the past 4 weeks, so when Nevada Day came we were so excited to get away! We were going to go up with the Leavitt's so he could go hunting with them and all the kids could play, but they had to leave early for a funeral, so we just went up to Alamo and camped by ourselves! The kids were disappointed at first, but they still had a great weekend!  We chopped some firewood and they were great little helpers with loading the wood! We went on rhino rides every morning so dad could look for deer and went out again in the evenings! We found some fun places for the kids the play and climb around! We played lots of "Go Fish" and it was a lot of fun! We even had a movie night on the IPAD with popcorn and red vines! We had to roast marshmallows and I was really wishing I would have brought stuff for smoars! Why I never remember is beyond me! We even got one shower each and that was so nice! We shot the 22 and if we wouldn't have run out of ammo, the kids would have kept shooting! They spent a lot of time shooting their bows. They climbed trees and chopped down dead trees! The boys were crazy at chopping these dead tree's down! It was very entertaining to watch them! Tenley just loved being outside and playing in the dirt! She definitely get way dirtier than my boys ever did! Even our little dog Taz had a great time and survived the weekend! He didn't like the gun and he really didn't like the huge sonic boom that scared all of us to death! We couldn't get him to come out from under the couch for a really long time! We all really enjoyed the new camp trailer! Grandpa Kelly gave it to us and Josh spent a lot of time fixing all that was wrong with it! It was nice to have running water, showers, fridge, and stove to cook on! It's not the nicest looking trailer, but it was FREE and it works for what we need it for! All in all, it was a great, relaxing weekend with my family! We even got to see Grandma and Grandpa Jensen, so that was icing on the cake! Can't wait for our next adventure!
