Fathers and Sons Campout

Tag didn't get to fish because he got into trouble, but it looks like he was still having a great time

Bishop Blackwell would never look at the camera

Father and Sons was on April 26th and 27th!  The boys were so excited to go camping with their dad! They had so much fishing and Ty caught some really big blue gill and a huge bass came at ate one of his blue gill as he was reeling it in.  They said it was really cool to see! They were so excited to have their friends there to play with them! One of the greatest things about camping is the boys can play and no one cares if they get dirty or destroy the dirt, rocks, stick, etc. Josh said they had a good time.  He did have to jump in the lake fully dressed to save Adam Smith's little boy, Grant, from drowning! Scary! That is usually my job, so I am glad that he got to do it this time! As a mother, I am also so nervous with little ones around the water! Josh said it was just a matter of time before someone fell in!  I am so grateful for Fathers and Sons! Tenley and I had a great time having our "girl time"!

Black Rock

On Saturday March 30th, we headed to Black Rock for a rhino ride with the Leavitt's! What an absolute wonderful day it was! The weather was pretty good, but a little chilly up on top! There was still a little bit of snow and the kids had fun playing in it, but couldn't figure out why they were cold.  We stopped and ate lunch on the top where there was a pond and this fun drainage tunnel.  There were tons of huge dead salimandors by the pond...it was so gross! The kids kept crawling through drainage tunnel and weren't ready to leave when it was time to go.  We made it to the very top where we could look over the gorge....it reminded me of the Grand Canyon! As a mother, I was a little nervous with all the kids being there, so I stayed back and kept an eye on the kids! It was very beautiful and it was cool to see all the cars in the gorge.  I really couldn't have asked for a better day! The kids had a blast with all the Leavitt kids and it was so nice to spend the day with our family! How blessed I feel to live in such a beautiful place!!

Happy Easter

Tenley won her gun at the communtiy Easter Egg hunt...the boys were so jealous
They all got exactly what they wanted at the face painting booth...they were sad when it was time to take it off.

 Dying Easter Eggs...so much fun

One more Easter Egg hunt with all the Leavitt's

Tenley was having so much fun with all the big girls playing the cup game without cups...it was too cute
Easter Morning before church...they all look so handsome and beautiful
 Easter Egg Hunt after church

 I sure love my kiddos
What a fun Easter our family had this year! With all the Easter Egg hunts I worked for the community, school Easter egg hunts, and family ones, the kids had 5 hunts this year! It was CRAZY, but they loved it!  However, on Sunday the Easter Bunny hid very few eggs and then we sat down and talked about why we really celebrate Easter! I was so proud of the boys for already knowing the reason for Easter! How grateful I am for good teachers who teach my children the most important things in life.  I am so grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ, and all that he has done for me! My life would not be the same or so wonderful without this knowledge!
