Lots of Visitors

The kids and I went to Paragonah, Utah to visit the Judd Family and see their awesome pumpkin patch.  The kids were so excited to go back and visit their cousins again.  We had a great couple of days with them.  I had a little Zeal table set up and that was fun! The kids just played and played and even got find their own pumpkins. I could not believe how big the pumpkin patch was and how big the pumpkins were. It was really neat! Another awesome thing happened while we were there. I ran into Sue Braden, a lady from the Vacaville Ward that I served in as a missionary!! She is the sweetest lady and it was so great to see her after 14 years! We always have a great time at the Judd's house and this time was no different!

What a blessing it is when you meet wonderful people! Sebastian called me to say that he would be in LA and was going to bring his friend out to see Vegas because he had ever been in the United States before.  Sebastian and Manoj Sharma came to visit us and it was such a wonderful day!! Manoj is from India and is a professional shrimp farmer. He has never shot guns before, so Josh took him out shooting. Then we took him for a razor ride and he had never done that before either. He did not understand how Tucker could love it so much! It was so funny to watch him on the razor! They came and watched the boys play soccer and then took us out for pizza in Mesquite. Manoj loved the kids and he really loved Tucker and would call him "little Tucker"! Our family feels so blessed to have met Manoj and it was so great seeing their Uncle Sebastian! They were hoping all their cousins were coming, but they were just here on business!

Living in the desert we don't see a lot of rain, but this was the coolest storm ever! It was raining so hard we could not see the neighbors house behind us. Then the hail came and the kids thought that was so cool!! I had to take pictures because there were literally buckets of water coming down from the sky!

Happy 9th Birthday Ty

Ty was so excited for his birthday to come this year! All he wanted was an IPod Touch. He begged and begged and begged! I have been so against the kids having their own electronics, but decided that we would set some ground rules up that must be followed! Needless to say, he was over the moon when he opened his present. We invited the Wolfley's over to share in his birthday festivities!

Ty has been such an easy kid right from the beginning! He is always so helpful, kind to others, wants to do what's right, and a great big brother. I am just so thankful to have this sweet boy in my life and in our family! We love you Ty, Ty!!

Soccer Season

What a fun season of soccer we had this year! It was so fun to watch the boys and Tenley play this year! Tenley loved soccer and her coach, Coach Jones, did a great job at letting all the girls play different positions! Tenley was a little go-getter and really got after the ball and never gave up! Ty and Tag played on the same team which was nice for me, but I think Ty should have played with the older kids. He was a bit bored! Their coach, Coach Sobrio, is a great coach and the boys really seem to like him.  Tag played goalie most of the season because he was really good at it.  They each made some goals and were super excited about that! I absolutely love watching my children play sports and have some fun!

Scouts, Soccer, and Birthdays

Ty has been loving scouts and has worked really hard to earn his Wolf Badge.  I was a very proud mama! He is such a good kid and always aims to please everyone. He works really hard and I am so proud of him for all he does. They loved the minute to win games we played after all the awards were given. I must say that I represented the family really well and won it for my group!

Tenley was so excited for soccer to begin! She has watched her brothers play every year and couldn't wait until she could play! It was a ton of fun to watch her play! She was very aggressive and stuck with that ball! She didn't back down or give up and made quite a few goals for her team! I just loved seeing the huge smile on her face! Every time she would make a goal she would turn and make sure we were watching her! I am excited for all the upcoming years of watching her play and think she will be an excellent soccer player!!

Josh turned 36 this year! Crazy that we are getting so old! It just doesn't seem possible! The kids were so excited to celebrate their dads birthday! They love eating cake and of course, helping open the presents. Josh has really been wanting to get a Go Pro, so he was super excited to get one for his birthday!! Happy Birthday Daddy! We all love you so much!

First Day of School

First Day of School is always so much fun! The kids were so excited to go back to school! Ty is in 3rd grade with Mrs. Hess, Tag is in 2nd grade with Mrs. Sleeted, and Tenley is in kindergarten with Mrs. Solomon.

Tenley was excited to take her pony on a walk. She made her own collar and leash! It was too cute...one of the many reasons I love her!

Just enjoying some pancakes with jelly on them!

August Fun

Tag was so excited to finally loose his other front tooth! It had been hanging out for awhile, but he would not let us pull it!! Finally, it popped out and you can see he already had the new tooth coming in.

This little boy and girl makes our whole family smile! Tucker LOVES his pancakes and is always a sticky mess after he eats them!  He is 19 months and Tenley is 5.

New kitty's for our family! We got two black kittens because we had a big mouse problem at our house! The kids were so EXCITED and Tucker wanted to hold them nonstop! Unfortunately, we left for the weekend and when we got back, they were gone. The kids were so sad, but I will say that we got the mouse problem under control.

We love going up to Haggarty and hadn't been up there much over the summer, so we decided to go for the weekend before school started! We love to take the razor out and Josh wanted to go use his new accessories for his spotting scope. The kids had a great time finding hide outs and hiking around the mountain. It was a little chilly, but Tenley still wanted to run in the sprinkler! Let's just say she only went through twice and decided it was too cold to run through the sprinklers. It was great fun watching her giggle and laugh as she played! The kids loved playing in the stream and pretended that they were making soup! It was so fun to watch them play and have a good time! It was a very fun way to end the summer!
