Life has been a little crazy since arriving home from Alamo. My mother is here now and we have been super busy. We've had doctor appointments this week and then I got mastitis...which was horrible. I never had it with Ty, but I wanted to die! No doctor could get me in, so I finally had to call dear old dad to call me in some medicine so I could get feeling better. Thank goodness my mom was here so I could just close my eyes and sleep. I feel so much better now! I feel so disconnected because I have had no time to get on the computer and check out blogs or even post my own blogs. I am finally making myself sit down and update all of you on life with Tag and Ty.
We gave Tag his first bath on Wednesday, as everything had finally fallen off. He loved the bath. I think he loved it because it was so nice and warm because if we weren't constantly putting water on his tummy or legs, he would start to cry. I hate giving sponge baths because they get so cold and seem to cry the whole time, so this time I just waited for the belly button and circumsion ring to fall off so he could have a normal bath. He was so calm and peaceful and I just loved watching him. So far he and Ty have very different personalities. It's amazing that you can see the difference already. Tag is very fiesty compared to Ty. When he gets angry he screams at the top of his lungs until you make it better. He loves to keep mom awake at night by getting comfortable and falling asleep and then for no apparent reason waking right back up and crying until mom has to take him out of the room so daddy can get some sleep. I must say that if I put him in bed with me and nurse him he sleeps so good, but I do not want to get in this habit, so I try to only do it in the middle of the night feedings. Tag also hates to have his diaper changed, so he screams and wiggles during the whole process, but at least it wakes him up so I can feed him! He really is a good baby, but different from Ty.
Ty was so mellow and not much bothered him. The only thing I can really think of is that he hated to be on his tummy...other than that he was really mellow.Ty loves his baby brother and loves to give him kisses and be in right in his face whenever he can...especially when mommy is nursing. It is very sweet and I am glad he loves his baby brother. He can even say his name and it is so cute!

Yay! I've been eagerly awaiting more pics. Matisis, that's IS horrible. I kept thinking i was going to die because it felt like my nipples were going to just fall off this las time (excuse my candor) anyway, I'm glad you are better!! He is such a cute bear!
Mastisis...
Hey Wendy! I'm so glad to see some pics of cute little Tag and hear some news...but I'm SO sorry you got Mastitis! I actually came pretty close to getting it too just this last week, but thankfully caught onto the beginning of it and it didn't get bad (I'll leave out details for anyone else who'll read this...) I'm sorry you had to go through it though...just this last week I've heard how horrible it is. I'm SO glad your mom was there! I hope you're feeling much better. Tag is so cute! He's so tiny still compared to my little 12 pounder! :-) Take Care!
Wendy! I'm so glad you found me off Rikki's blog! I love blogging for that reason. And hello, so sorry it's taken me an eternity to respond. But your new little boy is just a doll! And you look awesome from the pictures for just having been in labor. Not fair. I really like your idea about just waiting until the cord falls off to give them a real bath, I think I'll try that with the next one. That seems so much easier! And I LOVE the name you picked for your baby! I love cool names like that.
