Happy Thanksgiving

Aunt Ticia did Tenley's hair and I was trying to get a picture of it! It looks like this little girl already knows how to "ROLL" them eyes!

Tenley loves her Grandpa Jensen

Tenley LOVED sliding down the liner for Grandpa's pond...

She got so MAD trying to climb back up it!

Bekah and Tag try and pull Ty up the liner...they were pretending to be Diego and Dora

Tag gets tired of pulling and decides to slide down and have some fun!

We Did It, We Did It, We Did It!! That is the Diego theme song!

Tenley's favorite thing to do now is drain the tub and lay on the tub floor...sooooo cute!

Ty and Dad...he needed this for his school project

Ty and Mom

Tenley LOVING some chocolate  cake from Thanksgiving! She always knows Grandma will give her whatever she wants!

I can't even explain how much Tag enjoyed his chocolate cake...it made us all laugh

This year for Thanksgiving we packed up the kids and headed to Grandma and Grandpa Jensen's house in Alamo! It is so nice to have them close enough that we can pack up and be there in a little over and hour and come back that same weekend! When going to my parents house it involves a 20 hour drive in the car and that is never any fun!!! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner and I definitely ate way too much! I was so miserable! I don't really think I ate a lot of food, but I know I had way too much pie! We had probably 10 pies there and a huge chocolate cake from Costco! I am a dessert lover, so it is hard for me to say no! It is such a bad weakness to have! Thank goodness I have my Zumba class to work off those extra calories I ate over the holiday! After everything was cleaned up and put away, we took the kids to the park to play and it ended up being a terrific idea! It was nice to get out and enjoy the fresh air!

The day after Thanksgiving, I let Josh know that I would not be sitting around the house all day, so we headed out to the latest project Josh has been helping his dad out with! Josh and Jacob dug a pond for their dad and the next step was to line the pond with this heavy black liner.  We didn't know how we were going to get it lined because the roll is so heavy that you can't just roll it out.  So we gathered all the guys and they made little hand holes and they pulled the liner with all their strength and the strength of the 4-wheeler and it worked! None of us knew how much fun all the cousins would have playing on that liner, but it turned out to be a great activity! Unfortunately, I forgot my camera that morning, so I didn't get pictures of everyone, but I did get some of the kids later on that day sliding down the liner! I even had fun sliding down with Tenley!  When it has water in it, it will be so much fun to play in during the summer months!

So I have to tell the story of Tag and the chocolate cake.  We are all sitting at the table while he was eating his cake.  Tag gets his chocolate cake and it is a really big piece...I thought there was no way he could eat the whole thing...that is how big it was.  He takes the biggest bites of this cake and he is going, "mmmmm" as he eats every bite of that cake.  He had that thing eaten in no time at all! The funny part was him moaning, "mmmm" with every bite and rolling his head around...he was really enjoying that cake and all of us were just watching him with amazement in our eyes! I wish I could have gotten it on video!  I might add that it was the BEST chocolate cake, so I understood why he was LOVING it so much!

I had so much to be Thankful for and it was so nice to share the holiday with family! We had fun playing games and the kids ran themselves ragged all day long...they were fast asleep every night! I even got some reading in and that was so nice. I have been reading Thomas S. Monson's biography and really enjoyed having some time to read over the holiday weekend!  How blessed I feel to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ! I count my many blessing and feel so blessed to have such wonderful children, a great husband, and such good families! I missed my mom and dad this year, but am so thankful for the sacrifice and service they are providing over in Hungary! I know that is where they are needed at this time in their lives!
