I must say I am happy that Halloween is over. We had a great time at the carnival and the kids came home with lots of little toys that soon broke and ended up in the trash can. My rule was if I see on the ground, it is thrown away! Yesterday we had the class parties and the boys had lots of fun, but I was exhausted afterwards because miss Tenley was sooooo tired and very unhappy! I made her and Tag lay down when we got home, but she never fell asleep and I was afraid she would be a little pill while trick or treating, but she actually did okay! We started trick or treating around 6:00pm and this was our first time going to houses! We usually go to the community trunk or treat, but it is kind of lame, so we decided not to go this year! The kids loved running door to door and saying, "trick or treat!" They had so much fun and got plenty of candy! Josh was a bit irritable and I had to tell him to chill out a couple of times! We already had our fun and now it is the kids turn! He did get better, but only when we stopped at Donna and Doug Brady's house! We knew that would be the last stop if we did stop because we always stay and talk way too long! The kids got into their "loot" and the toy closet and had a ball! We just love Doug and Donna and the kids love them even more! It was a great night and I was so exhuasted by the end! Happy Halloween until next year!
