Little Update

 Basketball Season

Between the two pictures i think we were able to get the entire team

Since the beginning of the year, I feel like life has been so very busy! I need to be better and keeping up on all the pictures and this blog, so I am going to commit to doing better! The Jensen kids LOVE dressing up in their costumes and playing whatever game they have imagined up for that day! As a mother, I love this! I love that they are playing together, being creative, and not on any type of electronic device! I feel like technology is such a great thing, but I think that it has not been a great thing for the rising generation. I know in our family, our kids get very lazy, whiney, unrepsonsive when mom asks them to do something, and just have bad attitudes when we let them play games.  It was really bothering me that my kids never wanted to play outside, ride bikes, or play when their friends would come over to play with them. Josh and I decided they would got a total of 20 minutes a day to play games and that is it!! Life has been so much better since doing this and as of right now, they don't get them at all because they got in trouble and that is always the first thing that is lost! To be honest, I don't want to give them back! Now our kids are playing outside, reading books, playing with each other, and just all around having better attitudes! I love these pictures in their costumes...it makes my heart happy!  Tenley was given this bull riding outfit and she loves to wear it! She is our little ham and makes me laugh! She is a little ball of energy and sometimes I just don't know what to do with all her energy...it wears me out! She is a momma's girl and when I am home, she wants nothing to do with her daddy! I know it makes him really sad, so he was so happy she was snuggling with him! I didn't dare take a picture for fear she would leave, but it worked out this time! With that being said, she absolutely loves her daddy when I am not around!

Ty had been loving playing sports this year and it has been a lot of fun to watch him learn and get better as he plays! He was so very excited for basketball to start! He really did improve with basketball...he could barely dribble the ball when he first started! He made 3 baskets this season and was so proud of himself.  Unfortunately because I work now, I was only able to go to one of his games! This made me very sad and I felt so guilty! That is the hardest thing about working! I have a great job, but I miss out on the things in the evening because I have to work! His coach was Craig Woods and he was a really great coach! His team wasn't the most aggressive team and would just give the other team the ball...that will change as they get older! Anyhow,  I wanted to update what we have been up to these past few months! Never a dull moment in the Jensen home!
