Merry Christmas

My girlfriends made me this adorable diaper cake
During Christmas break I let the kids sleep in the living room. They love to build forts and I love to watch them have fun together

Opening their one present on Christmas Eve

Everyone loved their new PJ's...even Dad was excited for some new sleeper bottoms
They LOVED what Santa brought them...now it's time to open all the presents under the tree!

Grammy and Poppy sent them each $25 and they were so excited...dad was trying to steal it!

All the cousins and Uncles playing football...this is becoming an annual event

The little ones had fun playing hide and seek and playing at the park

What a wonderful Christmas we had this year! We were very busy this Christmas season. Josh was working like crazy and never home and I was so busy with PTO, work, work parties, school parties, church parties, and trying to get ready for this new little baby that is due right after Christmas! I started the Christmas shopping early this year and did a lot of it online, which was so nice! Ty wanted a BB gun and skylanders adventures wii, Tag wanted a new bow and adventure explorers wii, and Tenley wanted a doll house! Tenley's was the hardest one because her daddy had to make it and then I had to paint and modge podge it. Josh was so busy with work that he finished it the week before Christmas! With him not being home, I wasn't able to work on it until 2 days before Christmas! It was crazy, but we got it done! Josh wanted a new bow for Christmas and I wanted a new bed set and boots. We all were spoiled rotten and I even got a new coffee table, that Josh made, and an awesome American Flag to hang on my kitchen wall!

The boys were up by 4:40am on Christmas morning and we told them they had to wait until 6:00am to come out of their rooms! Well I slept terrible that night and couldn't fall back asleep, so at 5:30am I got out of bed to start the traditional blueberry muffins. Soon after that Josh was up and building a fire. We decided to let the kids open presents before 6:00am.  Tenley was the only one that had a hard time waking up! Josh had put a sheet up between the hall and the living room so the kids wouldn't see anything if they got up to go to the bathroom! We let Tenley go first and she just looked at her dollhouse and we finally told her she could go look at it! Ty and Tag rushed to their BB gun and Bow and were so excited! Once Tenley woke up and found all the goodies in her stocking, she was ready to go! We were done opening presents by 6:30 and I was ready for a nap! The kids kept saying over and over, "This is the best Christmas ever!!" They wanted to play with all their new wii games and go shoot their BB gun and Bow! Tenley was loving her new dollhouse and brought all her dolls, ponies, smurfs, and anything else she could find to fill her giant house! Around 8:00 I went to take a nap because all of Josh's family was coming at 12:00 and I was so tired! My nap made all the difference and when I woke up, the Christmas tree was down, couches moved back, back porch was cleaned off and Josh was vacuuming the floor! We loved our tree this year, but it was so big and with all the family coming over, Josh decided it needed to be taken down! I didn't know if he would be motivated enough to do it, but I was really wrong! Do I have an awesome husband or what? Soon after I woke up, Josh got called into work and made it back right before his family showed up! We had a yummy turkey dinner and the kids had a blast playing the wii! Even the older kids were loving the new games! The boys wanted to head to the park, so we all went and watched them play football! It was a beautiful day, but by the time the game was over it was getting a bit chilly! Everyone left for home around 5:30...all the adults were tired! It was a great Christmas!
