The kids LOVED learning how to make homemade bread with grammy by hand! It was fun to watch them knead the bread by punching it! They love eating bread dough just as much as their mom does! I always asked grammy to save bread dough for me when I was a little girl! Now my kids do the same thing!
Lots of visitors for Tucker! We had both Janarah and Ticia's families come after church on Sunday to meet their new nephew and cousin! It was so sweet how all the cousins were gentle with him and wanted their turn holding him! It was so nice to see all the family again and for mom and dad to get to visit with them again! They haven't seen each other since Josh and I got sealed! That was a long time ago!
My 33rd Birthday!
Mom and Dad came for a week after Tucker was born! They decided to stay through my birthday and left the next morning! My birthday dinner was so yummy...steak, mash potatoes, and strawberry shortcake! Josh wasn't doing good because his siatic nerve was still hurting and keeping him home from work! He was not a very happy or nice husband that day, so my birthday was a little hard for me this year! I know he felt bad, but wasn't feeling good and that makes him grumpy! We enjoyed dinner, then played some skipbo and then it was time for bed! My stomach started to feel not so great and I worried that I was getting what both Ty and Tag had! They each threw up once and were sick for about a day! Well around 11:00 I found myself hugging the toilet and all the contents from dinner coming back up! It was AWFUL!!! I haven't been that sick for a really long time! I even had a piece of steak stuck in my nose! I took a nice a hot shower, but then felt my stomach start to churn again! I found myself again hugging the toilet! I think around 1:30 or 2:00am I finally got into bed! The next morning mom and dad were suppose to leave, but they felt so bad leaving because Josh was still down and now I was sick with what felt like the flu! I told them to go ahead a go because they had to get home because Lauri was flying home! At this point Tucker was still sleeping a lot and happy, so I was able to sleep a lot that day! I felt much better the following day, but still had no energy! It is just no fair to be sick when you are a mother...especially a new mother! Needless to say, my birthday wasn't the best I have ever had, but such is life!
Basketball
Ty and Tag played on the same basketball team with Coach Sobrio as there coach again! He is great with kids and really knows how to handle our "Yaggy!" Ty had improved so much this year and even made some baskets! Tag got the hang of it and made a basket at our last game! He looked shocked when the ball went in! It is always fun to watch the boys play sports and see the excitement on their faces when they make a goal or a basket! Now we will have a break until next year! Tenley had fun playing with Coach Sobrio's daughter and was always excited to go play with Laureli!
