Spring Break in Oklahoma

On April 10th after Tenley's dance recital, we left for Oklahoma. It was another long drive, but the kids did great because we drove through the night. We were tired when we got there, but Josh was ready to go turkey hunting. He grabbed Poppy and they headed out to hunt some birds. Josh really wanted to take the boys turkey hunting in Oklahoma this year and I am always up for a trip home. The hardest part is the drive, but the kids really did a great job. Tenley was a little cantankerous, but it really didn't last too long. Tucker was a little angel and that was such a blessing. As soon as we got to grammy and poppy's the kids were off to find their cousins. All week long they played and played. Josh took them hunting during the day when the kids were at school and then they played the rest of the evening. It was fun to hang out with Carrie and mom. I got to see Carrie's new house and spend more time with my nephew, Brian! He is such a little cutie. Carrie and I were busy getting her storage unit cleaned out,her storage room organized, and some pictures hung up in her house. I ate out at least once a day because we were so busy and Carrie had some restaurants she wanted to have me try! Not good for the waistline, but I guess I got me eating in since we don't have any restaurants where we live. Of course, Grammy took all the kids bowling and to the arcade and they just loved that! We had a great time and Josh had a blast hunting, even though he didn't get a turkey. Oh, the weather was a bit crazy and it even snowed a little one day! By the time we left, it was starting to warm up!
