Mom and Ty at the deer farm. There is a big reindeer behind us that Josh was excited to see.

Ty thought this old tractor was really neat.

Mom and Ty on the old tractor...he didn't want to sit still for the picture.

Josh and Ty on the sled outside the deer farm. By this time Ty was getting tired of being still for pictures.

We are ready to get back in the truck and finish the long drive home.

Ty opening his grandma & grandpa Jensen's Christmas present. He got the Little People Barn and he loves all the animal sounds it makes.

On the way home from Oklahoma. Ty decided to take his shirt off when we got out of the truck.

Josh had a blast duck and goose hunting while in Oklahoma. It was way too cold to be out hunting.

Ty walking in the snow and still not enjoying it.

On the way home we stopped at the Deer Farm in New Mexico. It was a much needed break for Ty from his car seat and Josh and I were glad to stretch our legs. It was a fun little petting zoo, but Josh was disappointed that there weren't any nice elk or deer with antlers.

Funny story...I had planned on surprising Josh this Christmas with this gun safe. They delivered the safe and I decided to wrap it because then he would have some anticipation as to what it looked like. All day I was so excited for him to get home from work and see his present all wrapped. Well, he finally gets home and doesn't say one word about the huge box that is wrapped in our front room. I knew he had to notice it, but why wasn't he saying anything. About 15 minutes went by and still nothing. His cell phone rings and it was his twin brother. I realized why he was calling and started yelling,"Don't you say one word Jacob!" Then my cell phone rang and Jacob blurted out, "How does he not notice a gun safe in the front room?" If you know my brother-in-law, he talks really loud. Josh then said, "There's a gun safe under there?" The secret was out and I was so mad that the surprise had be ruined. After many years of ruined surprises, I will never tell Jacob what I am getting Josh for Christmas or any other gift for that matter. I asked Josh what he thought it was and this made me laugh so hard. He said, "You've been so excited about Christmas that I just thought it was another decoration!" Needless to say...I could have let this surprise go clear until Christmas and he would have been clueless the whole time.

Ty taking a bath with all his girl cousins. He usually loves bath time, but he was very unhappy this time.

Christmas morning in Oklahoma. Ty on his new bouncing Zebra. Poor kid kept getting kicked off by all of his older cousins. Now that we are home he is having a blast with his new toy.

It was a white Christmas in Oklahoma this year and I was excited for Ty to be able to play in the snow. As you can see...he was not so excited to play in the snow.

So when did it snow in OK? Of course we weren't hear, but I heard it didn't snow. It is so cold though! It was like 22 yesterday when I took Shaye to school. Looks like you had a nice Christmas. Isn't it fun! How did you get the background on from Pyzam without it erasing your widgets (things like your friends blog links on the side.) Last time I changed mine it erased all that, and I had to redo it all. What's the trick?
that looks like so much fun! you are so brave to drive so far! i really admire you guys. glad you had a good holiday!
hey wendy!
I love your pics! The one of josh duck hunting looks like it could be a professional ad or something. And, you did a great job wrapping such a huge present! :-)Isn't it funny that we were within 30 minutes or so of eachother twice during our trips? Yeah, if one wasn't at 3 in the morning and the other wasn't in the middle of driving to different places? Well, I hope you're doing great! Talk to ya later!
