Ty's New Room, etc.

I am sorry that I haven't updated my blog for awhile. From the pictures...you can see that I have been very busy. I have been cleaning out Josh's old room...I should have taken a picture of that...it was a disaster. I finally cleaned everything out, took everything off the walls, patched the holes, and finally started painting. It only took me 1 day to paint most of the room and then I had to paint one little section where the bunk beds were. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. However, the entire process took up my entire week last week and I must say that I am sooooo happy to be done! Not only did I have to move everything out of the room, I then had to put it in the shed and organize that whole mess too! So much fun, but it feels so good to have it done and know that everything has its place.

Ty is doing great sleeping in his new BIG BOY BED! The first night we didn't have the rail up, but put a mattress on the floor. Josh said, "my boy doesn't need a rail." His mind changed real fast after the first night. I don't know if he fell out or got out, but at 2:20am I heard him crying and went in his room to find him on the floor looking like a scared and lost little boy! I put him back in bed and crawled in with him. We both fell asleep and Josh came in at 5:30am to see how we were doing. Last night we put the rail up and he slept all night long without any problems! I was so excited and I hope it continues to go this way. Naptime is another story...all he does is play, so for now I will still use the crib for naps!

Now when we have company, they will have a nice bed to sleep in and we have 2 full size beds for the future!

I am 24 weeks and can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone! I went to the doctors today and everything looks great! I am so excited because I've only gained 9 lbs. so far!
