Happy 2nd Birthday Tag!!

Today Tag turned 2 years old. I was reflecting upon these past 2 years and how fast they have gone by. I remember going to a regular doctor appointment and finding out that I would be having my little boy that night. What a wonderful blessing Tag has been to our family! I think it is all in those big blue eyes and that very happy expression on his face. I look at these pictures and realize he is growing into a little boy way too fast! He has a personality all of his own! He is a very busy and active little boy, but also very sensitive too. He gets his feelings hurt very easily and the bottom lip comes out and you know that his feelings have been hurt. With that being said, he is the most stubborn little boy too! I guess we should have realized that from the time he spent in the womb...always in my ribs and then not turning when the doctor was trying to turn him head down! Tag loves his big brother and always wants to know where he is when he isn't around or is still napping. He always is willing to say "sorry" when he does something wrong or mean to his brother. He can be quite the little stinker, but I guess it is pay back for all the time he was picked on by his older brother when he was just a helpless little thing. He is a little snuggle bug and both Josh and I love that! We all love our Tag and our family wouldn't be the same without him.


This morning when Tag woke up I went into his room and told him Happy Birthday! I think he special that he was the birthday boy today! He talked to his Grammy and she sang "Happy Birthday" to him and he has the biggest grin on his face. Then he talked to his dad and kept saying, "Happy Birthday or Birthday today!" He wanted pancakes for breakfast, so that is what we had. Then we went to the library and read books and did puzzles. He also got to see his Grandma and Grandpa Jensen today! I think he had a good birthday! We will have a little party for him on Monday night and I just know that he will love his presents and the yummy cake! Stay tuned for more birthday fun! THE BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!

Tag had a great birthday party! We celebrated his birthday on Monday the 17th because Josh was in Oklahoma for his actual birthday! It worked out perfectly because we had some really special family members that were able to be there! Great-Grandma Redd moved here the same weekend as Tag's birthday, so she was able to come to his party! We also had Aunt Cindy here visiting too! The boys don't know there Great-Grandma Redd that well, so it was so much fun to have her at the party! Tag loved the car puzzle that Aunt Cindy and Great-Grandma got him. His Grandma Jensen got him the greatest present ever....DIGGERS, a HARD HAT, SHOVEL, and RAKE!! Talk about little boy heaven! Mom and Dad got him a bubble machine and he loved that! In fact, we used all the bubbles up within 2 days! It was fun to watch him chase the bubbles and jump up and grab them! He was so happy! Uncle Jacob also came to party with us! We ate really yummy cake and ice cream and had fun watching the boys tear into the presents !
