Our vacation to the family cabin at Bear Lake was so fun! Usually you are ready to come home, but none of us wanted to leave Bear Lake! The weather was in the low to mid 70's, except to days were in the mid 40's! Everything we did was free and who doesn't LOVE FREE!! We went to the North Shore beach almost everyday and the kids had a blast playing in the sand and even got in the freezing cold water! I remember going to Bear Lake every summer as a child and even in August the water is freezing and hard to get in, so I was impressed the kids got in! It was also great because the kids could walk out really far and the water would only be to their waist or chest! The boys LOVED playing with their cousins and I LOVED spending time with my oldest sister! She just moved from Missouri to Utah, so we thought it would be great to go to the cabin and have some fun! We took the Rhino out everyday and Hailey (almost 12) always wanted to drive! We did the daily trash dump and she was always happy to go so she could drive! There were some fun trails, but we learned all the kids had to wear helmets or we would be fined $100 per child, so we didn't go on the trails after that! On Sunday it was 44', so we built a fire and baked  chocolate chip cookies and my brother, Drue, and his wife, Kristen, and their two boys, Brent and Drue, surprised us! They live in Logan and decided to come up after church! It was so great to see them and the kids loved playing with their cousins! Ty and Brent are about the same age and are into the same things and it was fun to watch them interact! It was so fun to talk and laugh with Drue and Kristen and the time just flew! It is so hard for me to be so far away from my family, so I really cherish the time I get to spend with them!  Hailey was our little babysitter when we needed to run to the market or for internet service and that was so nice to have her there so we didn't have to drag all the kids with us! Tenley just loved playing with her and Hailey was so great to play and entertain her! Kate and Ty were instant buddies! They were so cute on their little hike! At one point Ty had his arm wrapped around her waist, but the camera wasn't fast enough to catch that picture! Brielle, Tag, Ty, and Kate pal'd around and just had so much fun together! They worked so hard on building this dam and it was so cute to watch them work as a "team"! Everytime we would leave the beach, Tenley would say, "bye water, bye water!"  I think we have decided to try and make it a summer tradition to stay at the cabin! It was worth every cent of gas money! Bear Lake was a big part of my childhood and I would love for it to be the same for my children! What a wonderful week! We love you Bear Lake!!!
