This was before I pressure washed and stained the new play set
Daddy was trying to take a nap, but he was more than happy to have his baby girl come love on him! She is getting too big:(
What do ya think? The finished product!
For the last day of school, Ty's class went to the splash pad in the morning! The kids had a blast playing with all the other kids! So ironic that it has be so hot and the day we go it is windy and not that hot, so Tenley didn't want to get in the water. Normally you can't keep her out of the water, but she still had a great time! Ty had a great year in school, but he is ready to have a break and enjoy the summer! We plan on having lots of fun and I am sure that it will go by way to fast!On Tuesday of this week, I decided I was going to pressure wash the new play set and get it all ready to stain! You should know that when I start a project, I want to finish it and that is what I did! I started at 8am and finished around 11:00am. Then ran to Ace to pick up the stain and because it was so hot I was able to stain it when I got home! I started the staining at 12pm and finished at 4pm, got all the stain off of me, jumped in the shower and headed out for a really hot date with my hubby! We headed to Mesquite for some Samurai 21! It is one of our favorite places to eat and we were really craving it and decided to go before I left town for a week! We had a great time!
Tomorrow the kids and I are heading up to the family cabin at Bear Lake (on the Idaho side) and we are all so excited! Not only is it beautiful, it is so much cooler! We will meet my sister, Lauri, and her 3 girls and have a party for a week! I just hope the kids do okay on the very long drive there! Stay tuned for the pictures from our trip!
