Mike, Brita, & Ashlynn Come to Visit

The weekend of May 2nd - 4th, Mike, Brita, and Ashlynn came down for a weekend visit. It was so fun to have them stay at our house...how I love to spend time with family. On Friday night we met in Hurricane because my brother-in-law, Nate, was having a chocolate party and we were invited. We got to eat lots of HEALTHY chocolate and had fun catching up. It was great to see Nate, as he lives in Missouri.
On Saturday, Mike and his family went to Valley of Fire to go hiking and we stayed home and did yard work and cleaned the pool so Ashlynn could go swimming. As you can tell from the picture we got some sun that day. When they got home from hiking they were tired and decided to take a nap. We didn't go swimming until 3:00pm, but the water was cold and little Ashlynn did not like it. Ty just chilled and had fun with his dad and uncle Mike in the pool. That evening we all went out to dinner and played Wii...it was great to watch Josh and Mike do "Dancing with the Stars" We were all exhausted and I think we slept very well that night. On Sunday we went to church and then Mike and his family headed out after lunch. We had a great time and I know they were so happy to have some warm weather to enjoy!
