Family Time and County Fair

Josh and I decided we wanted to do something fun with the kids over the weekend! We decided to go on a Rhino ride from Scenic to Black Rock. Of course, it decided to be so cold, but we still went! We had a great time and it wasn't too cold in the canyon, but windy and cold at the top of the mountain! We still had a great time, but it would have been much better if it wouldn't have been so cold! We were just so happy to have a really warm levi quilt!


The county fair is always so much fun and a couple of weeks before it came to town, the boys started to ask when the motorcycles were coming to town? They were so excited when it finally came. I told them we were going to do the fair in one day and that is just what we did! We went at 10:30 am to 7:45pm! I was so exhausted by the end, but the boys still were not ready to leave the fair! It was a cold weekend for the fair, but it wasn't too cold until the evening came! They rode every ride they could and then when their dad finally came to the fair, mom rode the big kid rides that they needed an adult to ride! They loved the Pirate Ship, but my tummy did not like it and Ty loved the ride that goes forward really fast and then goes backwards! I just had to close my eyes and breathe deeply! I never had a problem with rides when I was younger, but I was not liking them on this particular day! They loved the Ferris Wheel, but we were at the top when they stared unloading and it was chilly and I couldn't warm up after I rode that ride! We had a great time and spent way too much money! I had a great day with the kids and Tenley did so great for how long we were there!
